hello friends.
this week has been a bit of a roller coaster.
so our area used to be the area of the sister training
leaders. and the STL's work'd hardcore. so there's a lot of following up on
former investigators and such. so this week, after having swap'd stories with
the former stl's, went and tried to find some of the people they used to teach.
and so we walk up to this house we've walked past
probably 15 times. andddd we teach the whole family and they're pretty
stoked/excited to talk with us. which was refreshing. and! they came to church
on sunday. they're progressing pretty great. understanding all the stuff we
teach them and keeping commitments and such. really great. lots of hope for
their future.
another fun thing that happened. im getting better and
better about distinguishing drunk people from not drunk people. a basic life
skill for many people in this world but. i haven't really had to develop it
until now. but all is well. watching drunk people dance down the street is
really funny tbh...
oh yeah. also transfers came. anddddddddddddd we're staying.
but! we're the newly assigned maintenance elders! which means more
responsibilities. but also! we get a truck! no more waiting for a bus for 30
minutes! huzzah! but this also means that other missionaries are gonna be
begging me for rides like all the time now. for better or for worse i guess.
the work moves forward.
but. my sd card is sick with one or more viruses so.
we'll see how many pictures come through.
love y'all. k byeeeee
